They use that caveat at the beginning of the video to CYA. That's interesting, it's conflicting with their ad copy online. What I found interesting is that I read an industry insider say that the risk of being "chopped" by the prop while wakesurfing behind an I/O was a fabrication promulgated by the inboard industry - for financial gain.

Wakeboarder :: DIY Wakeboard rack
i made one for my tower out of really thick plywood leftover from a previous project, so my only costs were sealant/paint, dowel, and ubolts to mount it. it cost me about 10 bucks and 2 hours to build. granted it wont last forever but its on its second season already and i can afford to build another one when i need to (a pair of them next time). im not sure how to go about mounting a rack on
